All are invited to this special event to learn how to be a more engaged citizen and how to exercise your rights. If you’ve ever thought, “Someone should do something about that,” we want to help you find out who to go to and how to make a change.

Our expert panel will explain how Sanford’s boards, committees, and commissioners work together and how you can engage at your district, city and county levels. Some topics to be covered include:

– Civic Engagement with District 1 Commissioner Sheena Britton

– City boards with Seminole County Planning & Development manager Mary Moskowitz

– Public engagement with Chief Communications & Cultural Affairs Administrator Lisa Holder

Our panel will be moderated by Historic Preservation Board member Tammy Agnini.
