Floral Painting Workshop with Cecel Alee

Cecel Allee returns to Jeanine Taylor Folk Art on April 6th for another wildly popular floral painting workshop!
Similar to classes taught years ago at her home on Lemonade Farm in north Georgia, Cecel will share guidance in design, color and form. Participants will walk away with a complete 16×16 floral acrylic painting on wood.
All supplies will be included in the cost of admission: hand-built wooden boxes (in lieu of canvas, in Cecel’s classic style) and paint. Cecel will provide one on one and group instruction. The class will break midday for lunch. Guests are welcome to pack their own lunch from home or dine out at one of the many restaurants within walking distance.
Cecel began painting years ago as she convalesced at home after major surgery. As she nurtured her need to create, her following of collectors began to bloom. Early on, Cecel would pack her van full of fresh art and head to the Scott Antique Market in Atlanta, GA. The broad appeal of her aesthetic made her work immediately popular among interior designers.
