Lights Up on Students is a Seminole State College production written and directed by the theatre students consisting of:
1. A Loving Thought: Written and directed by Nico Eubanks
Do you ever look at someone and wonder, “what’s going on inside their head?” In this story, we follow Alex and Sal and observe their thoughts as they fall in love.
2. Romeo and Juliet Housewives Special: Written and directed by Trinity Calabro, co-directed by Lily Robertson
Taking place in the early 2000s, this reality TV show serves as a parody of Real Housewives of New Jersey, focusing on the parents of Romeo and Juliet. The moms of the main cast find themselves compelled to contemplate their emotions and the events that unfolded during the play.
3. Electile Disfunction: Written and directed by Virgil Grogan
The President of the United States is running for re-election against four other candidates. To ensure his re-election, he devises an evil diabolical scheme, involving summoning an ancient eldritch entity to kidnap the other candidates, and keep them in the basement of the White House. A young plucky news reporter takes it upon himself to solve the mystery and save democracy!
