ATTENTION ARTISTS! We are looking for *new artwork inspired by early Science Fiction from the late 19th and early 20th Century. This show will coincide with another Seminole State Planetarium Scopes and Suds event in February.

Artists are encouraged to draw inspiration from works published or released prior to 1955. All mediums welcome.

For example reference stories written by H.G Wells, Jules Verne, and Rudyard Kipling. The space adventures of Edgar Rice Burroughs and many others found in the pulp magazines of the early to mid-20th Century are another source. To get a feel for creating works look at the illustrations/art found in the original book and magazine covers.

*no repeat art. If you’ve submitted a piece for a previous art show at Deviant we prefer artists to produce new work.

DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSION: Mon, February 10
DROP OFF: February 12
OPENING NIGHT: Saturday, February 15, 6-8pm
The show will be up through March 30

SUBMISSION GUIDELINES:
Prior to accepting your piece to the show, please send a photo of your submission for review to: art@deviantwolfebrewing.com.

MEDIUM: We will be accepting all mediums for this show.
– Sci-fi Art inspired by the late 19th and early 20th Centuries (prior to 1955)
– Limit of 3 pieces per artist.
– Art needs to be ready to hang with hardware already attached to the frame or canvas. D-rings + wire recommended. ($5 fee per peice if not)
– Due to amount of submissions please email ahead if your piece is larger than 16” x 20”
– Please email in advance for 3D art

Commission Fee: There is a 25% commission fee for any sold artwork, including additional prints.

Any sold or unsold artwork not collected within 90 days of the submission deadline will become the property of Deviant Wolfe Brewing.
