Although Fasching (the “Fifth Season”) officially got started on November 11, the serious Pre-Lenten festivities in Germany don’t really begin until the ladies take over on 𝐖𝐞𝐢𝐛𝐞𝐫𝐟𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐧𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐭 (“Women’s Mardi Gras”), the Thursday before Ash Wednesday.

Frauen with scissors will be in charge Thursday night 2/27/25 at Hollerbach’s, so Männer, be on your best behavior – and don’t wear a tie that you want to keep! Karneval costumes encouraged but not necessary. Nick and Eckhard will be performing their special Fasching show from 6-9 pm!
